Corporate & Group First Aid Training
The First Aid School is an on-site first aid training provider – we run nationally accredited first aid courses for corporate settings, workplaces, communities, organisations, parent groups, schools, and sporting clubs. Our onsite first-aid courses are led by operational paramedics who are passionate about equipping more people with the skills to provide help with confidence.
Instead of long, boring slideshows, we use interactive, simulation-based training to provide realistic learning experiences for participants. Expect fake blood, special effects, and even sound effects to simulate real-life situations and equip your team with valuable skills.

Onsite Workplace First Aid Training
We’ll come out to you – whether it be in your workplace, community hall, or sporting club. We will bring along the required equipment and resources for first aid training to your location — all we need is enough space to conduct the training.
Delivered by Operational Paramedics
Our first aid trainers are operational paramedics who have extensive experience dealing with a wide range of medical emergencies. Learn best practices and skills beyond the basics of a standard first aid course.
Simulation-Based Training
We apply similar simulation-based training used by NSW Ambulance paramedics. Each scenario is designed to give participants a deeper understanding of how to apply first aid techniques in a real-life emergency.
Family-Run Business
At the First Aid School we’re a family run business, meaning you’re more than just a client to us. Our close-knit team delivers a personal, caring service that big organisations can’t replicate.

The Importance of First Aid Training for Workplaces
Whether in the workplace or in the general public, first aid skills can be the difference between life and death. The Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Act 2011 states that employers are responsible for ensuring that employees have adequate and up-to-date training in first aid.
However, only 1 in every 2 corporate workplaces arranges first aid training for their staff, according to the Australian Red Cross. The reality is, it’s not enough to have only one or two staff who are trained in first aid – as critical incidents can happen anywhere, at any time.
Workplace first aid training is the best solution for companies to comply with their safety obligations while providing employees with the skills to respond to medical emergencies. With a day of workplace first aid training providing up to 3 years of certification for participants, it’s something that all organisations should invest in.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a maximum group size for onsite first aid training?
We can deliver onsite first aid training for up to 20 participants in one session. For class sizes of 1 to 7 a flat rate applies.
How long does workplace first aid training take?
First aid training will take a full day, between 5-6 hours. To ensure that all participants can focus on the training, we recommend setting the day aside and minimising work activities.
How will participants be graded for the first aid course?
First aid training completion is based on competency — each participant will be tested on practical skills and knowledge to determine if they meet competency standards. Our trainers are committed to helping each participant until they meet the requirements to successfully complete the course and obtain a Certificate of Attainment.
