Parramatta First Aid Training Course

Nationally accredited first aid training delivered on-site across Parramatta workplaces, schools, and communities.

Medical emergencies can happen at any time. With the right first aid training, your staff and/or community group will have the confidence and skills to act quickly and minimise the risks and injuries.

The First Aid School delivers nationally accredited first aid training for workplaces, facilities, schools, and communities across Parramatta and the surrounding suburbs of Rosehill, Westmead, and Guildford. We are a registered training organisation (RTO 90909) licensed to equip teams with essential life-saving first aid training across different businesses like early learning and education, building and construction, sports, and healthcare.

Our Parramatta first aid courses are delivered by operational paramedics with extensive real-world experience. To book your first aid training, simply get in touch with our team and we’ll set a date, time, and place.

Parramatta’s Trusted First Aid Training Providers

Whether you are located in a high-rise office on George Street or a warehouse in Rosehill, we’ll bring the training to you. All we need is a space large enough to set up our equipment and run the session safely.

We offer onsite workplace first aid training for up to 20 participants per session. Each training session includes everything needed for hands-on practice, including first aid dummies, bandages, and defibrillators.

Our first aid trainers will guide participants through the theory and practical aspects of first aid techniques, and assess each participant’s competency at the end of the training. Upon completion of the first aid course, we will issue a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment to each participant as proof of qualification.

One of the best first aid courses I’ve ever enrolled in. Billy went the extra mile with mannequins, props and special effects to simulate each scenario as accurately as possible.
Elijah Alia
I gained valuable insights from the training, which was highly interactive. It included real life scenarios where we responded as first aiders. The trainer was excellent too.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Long Does First Aid Training Take?

First aid training will take a full day, between 5-6 hours with our face-to-face delivery mode. To ensure that all participants can focus on the training, we recommend setting the day aside and minimising work activities.

Which Certificates Will Participants Recieve?

The following units will be included in your certificate:

  • HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
  • HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • HLTAID010 – Provide basic emergency life support

Is There a Maximum Group Size for Onsite Training?

We can deliver onsite first aid training for up to 25 participants in one session. For class sizes of 1 to 7 a flat rate applies.

Where are the First Aid Courses Held?

We can come to your home or workplace and bring all required equipment, including a projector and props for the simulations.

How Will Participants be Graded for the First Aid Course?

First aid training completion is based on competency — each participant will be tested on practical skills and knowledge to determine if they meet competency standards. Our trainers are committed to helping each participant until they meet the requirements to successfully complete the course and obtain a Certificate of Attainment.

Who Should Attend First Aid?

It’s imperative that every workplace ensures there’s at least one team member trained in CPR and first aid to swiftly respond to emergencies onsite. However, it’s not just a responsibility limited to a single individual; extending CPR training to more team members is essential. Whether you’re a parent, caregiver, student, or community member, expanding CPR training within your workplace equips more individuals with life-saving skills.
